...PAINFUL that this fabulous Dance hit, not only is the LEAST watched PWL Video, but one of the BEST Dance club tracks, ever issued by PWL! ...Loveland created an INCREDIBLE CD, & taught me the term, 'Handbag House'....Rachel was PERFECT for this sound...at least she's known for, "Let The Music Lift You Up"....

It's because of the name PWL , the Pwl haters can't give credit to anything on the label , its bordering jealousy I say ! Fk em anyway what have the hater achieved? Nothing ! Left home now paying someone else's mortgage through rent, laugh out loud to them , critizing millionares whilst they struggle to live , haha on those people 😂

I tried so very hard to bring this to the states in 1995. I was the Program Director of a small rhythmic station in Upstate New York (and I put this in rotation off the import CD) but I was telling R&R and Gavin and Open House Party and everyone I could about this great track and group from Europe. I still think it could have been huge in the U.S.

WORKED THIS IN THE CLUBS AS WELL AND ALWAYS WONDERED WHY THIS DID NOT BLOW UP HOWEVER THE HOUSE MIX WAS MUCH BETTER AND HAD ALOT MORE ENERGY . THIS VERSION WAS PRETTY LAME IN COMPARISON. THE OTHER THING I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WAS HOW LONNIE GORDON'S HAPPENNIN ALL OVER AGAIN DID NOTHING IN THE STATES WHEN IM GONNA GET YA WAS SO HUGE . HAPPENNIN ALL OVER AGAIN WAS MUCH BETTER .

THIS WAS THE MIX I PLAYED IN THE CLUBS AND THIS IS FAR BETTER THAN THE RADIO EDIT. MUCH BETTER KEYBOARDS. = kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioa0gWeae7WKhdE

Chris p There was a version released by the “Hot Tracks” remix service that used this version as the basis, but tightened it up a little bit more. That’s the version I would spin in clubs and it would do well with response.;

.....you TRIED, Man! ...I remember DJ Billy Carroll playing this to DEATH, Spring of 1995!! ...It was somewhat of a 'cult' Gay Bar / Club hit, but, we were sliding into the era of Ace Of Base / Real McCcoy / Amber, so, it wasn't to be.....

@@henhao1972 I can address that. "Happenin' " didn't get any support in the States, other than as a radio promo and cassette single. It wasn't until the 1991 Stonebridge remixes that it was even released as a 12" domestically. Luckily, it had the original mix on it, so I got two to play. I'd been trying to track down the import after hearing it in Detroit. Did land one soon after, and got 10 years out of it (Hip House Mix), and only about 3 from "Gonna Catch You," with occasional appearances after that. Dance other that midtempo C&C Music Factory style stuff and urban (virtually nothing much over 120 BPM) just wasn't really being supported domestically. Not for a couple years, anyway.

Loveland had a sound I loved. I never got my hands on this but frequently played their mixes/remixes, and often bought music if that moniker appeared. I had a HUGE resurgent hit with their near complete reinterpretation of Livin' Joy's "Dreamer." Listen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWXaZWWQYqyAgMU
