I have been addicted to Madonna's album Confessions On A Dance Floor recently. I googled albums similar to that one because I wanted more of that fun dancing vibe. It suggested Kylie Minogue stuff. I'd never given her music a listen before. I assumed poppy whatnot stuff. I picked up her recent release, the definitive collection called Step Back In Time. I am a 55 year old straight male musician. I was missing out! She is pretty damn Great! I'm certain she will be my new addiction, also.

Oh my golly gosh it feels like it's Christmas 1989 all over again! I absolutely love Kylie and love this song so much. I remember doing the little dance routine in my bedroom and used to sing it on a microphone 🎤 on my hi-fi ( so 80's) back when times seemed so much more innocent. Kylie was and still is the Soundtrack to my life! How times have changed but Kylie just still looks as gorgeous as ever, her and her music is just TIMELESS. It’s very clever pop song writing,Mick Stock and Matt Aitken was amazingly good at,they use sad notes with nice key changes leading up to the chorus with well arranged strings it’s a structure you can hear in a lot of their songs from that era plus the fact listening to an old song now will always remind you good times from years gone by
