0211 is more aesthetically pleasing… I have last years 0211 and love them… hit them a mile and very forgiving

I have the Gen 3 irons with a 0211 sand wedge . The 0211 is 2/3 swing weights lighter. In my opinion after going to buy 0211. I am glad I spent more to get the Gen3s

The grooves on a forged club wear out very quickly. I'm a 5 handicap and hate forged irons, they sound weak, too soft. I like the sound of power when I hit an iron.

JESUS those are LOW spin numbers for a 7 iron , but then its NOT a 7 iron as its more a traditional 6 iron but should be closer to 5500 -6000 spin. These new designed clubs just scare the hell out of me as I am a high ball hitter and these are all designed to hit the ball high and I am afraid of loosing distance because I would hit them TOO HIGH and the ball would just drop out of the sky short . I would love a set of the New PXG 0211XCOR2 irons , but man with those spin numbers I may just keep playing my OLD Adams Idea Tech forged V3 clubs that I have played the last 12 years!!! Great review by the way and and thanks for doing a review for people looking into purchasing a set of PXG clubs. I guess I will get a fitting and see if I like the numbers I can generate form a fitting and see it they will work for my game !! I have had several fittings through the years 1993 A Kenneth Smith club fitting , Several Ping fittings ( eye2, ZING, ISI, i20 & G30) , MIzuno fitting so I have a good grasp of the fittig aspects And what my swing should generate.

The spin numbers he was getting here don’t mean you’ll get the same numbers…. Go get fitted . They will put you in 20 different shafts to see what fits you best. It also depends on club head speed and angle of attack … etc. so many different factors

Newer clubs with jacked lofts aren't relying on spin anymore to stop the ball. It is all about height and decent angle.

The faces of both the 0211 and 0311 are made out of the same material which is HT 1770 maraging SS. So the forged explanation is not quite accurate. The 0311 is not a one-piece head. The faces are identical material. Just fyi

Good review. But why not just fix your swing rather than buying a new set of clubs? You're not going to fix your swing flaws by spending money on new clubs.
