I had these types of kachodi at a Rajasthani stall near Nagpur. It was different from other kachoris. I loved it as i wasn't fond of kachoris, but these Rajasthani kachoris were awesome. I was thinking since last 2 weeks, how to prepare it n voila, you have explained this recipe!!! I am awestruck as whatever I think, you are getting it on channel. Today I made these and they were delicious. Thankyou for the recipe. Some tips becauseI could've done better. Tips for next time : 1) Make the masala a bit more spicy and add the masalas in the oil and cook them for a minute and then add the potato. 2) roll the puri thin and then add masala in the oval puri (put the sheet through the rounded thumb and index finger) in your hand and seal it while rolling it and remove the excess dough and then roll the kachori thin [It tastes better thin] 3) Fry the Kachoris on medium high flame while moving them around so that they become Khasta and the maida cooks well. Note : 1) Dont fill the kachori like a paratha because that will leave alot of excess maida in the middle 2) Dont fry them on high flame the entire time because that will only cook the exterior. 3) Make the Kachoris in advance and cover them so they dont dry out and then fry them 2 or 3 at once to save fuel,energy and time. That's all. 😊

Hi Sanjyot ... I'm a fan since you started this channel and I have loved cooking just by seeing you... I have eaten this Kachori near my house 12 years ago... They have closed the shop .. that's the best kachori I have ever eaten.. searching for that recipe.. I think they make aloo kachori like this not Dal kachori... They pour some masala broth (like the broth we make for samosa masala) and green chutney, curd, red chutney (maybe tamarind and jaggery)... Nothing else... It tasted sooooo freaking gooddd... Can you make a video like I said?? Pleaseeee... I don't like some people putting pomegranate seeds, om pori, kaara boondi (in tamil, sorry I don't know their names in English)..
