Yasir Akhtar used to direct and produce Music Channel Charts, he launched the careers of Fakhr e Alam, Shehzad Roy, Najam Sheraz, Nadeem Jaffery, Komal Rizvi, Collage, Fringe Benefits and many more. Music Channel Charts was the first ever pop charts show of Pakistan, the show VJ from Lahore started the next year after Music Channel Charts. - Admin

Golden era of Pakistani Pop Music was 1995- 2010. We used to listen Najam, Fakhar, Yasir, Ali, Sajad, Junaid and especially Junoon. After the law and order situation, the future of pop singers career was at risk because, concerts stopped due to on going terrorist attacks. Finally, Pop singers moved to other professions or some survived because of Tv shows. I think the spirit of work at that time is, at its peak but as the singers renowned, they failed to create the quality of song as it was in past. Now, most of the singers are lost. Salute to all the singers for making our memories. God Bless you all.
