Such a simplistic story and such a beautiful presentation. Loved every moment of this movie. It was so nostalgic... a car back in those years was a luxury and this attachment with the car for the driver, the owner was just beautifully depicted. Even the love story part is on so many grounds effective here - the love for their car, the love of the owner couple... This movie touched my heart.

Remembering read this novel 15 years back when i was studying in 12th std. Many tamil films are from rural novels. In india we have got lakhs of excellent novels. Directors are failing to make such. Happy tamil industries were using novels like this Hindi directors must come to bring such stories. Those writers will also get financial support n we ppl from south can also enjoy ur stories. Novels always reflects culture n their emotions more than film script writers. All the Shanker films on earlier days based on sujatha novels. We also Love to see some films like *Detective Byomkesh Bakshy*
