No, it's actually the same as others. They announce their medals as a group. Bronze medalists--then they announce all bronze medalists. This format is also followed for silver medalists and the gold medalists/champions. What made the announcement confusing is whenever they announce Russian athletes. They can't announce them as "From Russia" because Russia is banned. That's why Russian athletes were introduced as "Olympic athlete from Russia ".
