Sevgili efendim, yavaş yavaş ölüyorum. Ve sen bunu biliyor ya da hissediyorsun. Bu benim için ne korku verici ne de istemediğim menfur bir şey. Bütün bunlardan bağımsız, ama bütün bunların bir sebebi olarak keşke hayal kurmasaydım diyorum. Keşke sözler vermeseydim diyorum. Sonra bekliyorum böyle. Hatta çok bekledim. Ama dönmedin. Gördüğünüz bu derece metanetli duruşun altından bu denli yalnız ve biçare bir varlık çıkıyor işte. Hayat böyle bir şey mi?
