Since Davos is so much in news since covid this Christmas when ukraine tried to ban ballets by Tchaikovsky i recently learnt that the composer visited his favourite pupil Josef Kotek in Davos for 8 days as he lay dying of syphilis in sanatorium in kurplatz square there/ how sad to die aged only 30 from being foolish and promiscuous/ this may have been last piece they played together called a charming serenade by Kotek in a letter written in German you can find online
