This is still one of my favourite cutscenes of all time in this game. I love the bonds on the drivers and blades working together side by side. Rex and Pyra are still the best relationship/couple ever made in this game. Man, this game was so good! Still one of my favorite games of all time back in 2017

That's something that also stuck with me. The character chemistry is really good and even believable. Some of my favorite protagonists in any RPG. My favorites being Nia, Zeke and Tora/Poppi. They come to understand each other's flaws and grow closer as friends, especially when you take into consideration Morag and Zeke were trying to stop them at first

No because half of Pyra's core Crystal is in Rex's chest keeping him alive Pyra lost her regeneration and technical immortality. This results in the two of them sharing injuries. Plus it's later revealed that if a blade's weapon is either lost or destroyed a new one can be created from the ether by either the driver or the blade. Morag explains this when she used her weapon to fuel poppi's ether furnace. This is also shown very early in the game when Malos destroys Pyra's sword and Rex later comes in with the same sword

They feel each others pain so if pyra gets kicked in the stomach Rex feels it too, I don’t know how their gender specific parts would translate to the other. The one odd example that makes me wonder if it might actually be something she can kinda control is when their treating eachother in uraya and pyra complains that Rex is rubbing to hard but he doesn’t act like he feels it and then when she rubs his injury she doesn’t act like it’s bothering her despite hurting him.
