i live in Hawthorne, NV @ Walker Lake the sister lake to Pyramid & we get that alage every year also but its in the hottest part of the summer, never in the fall so that just seems strange that it would turn over as the water gets cooler!

The underwater footage of the fish following makes me instantly think what can be done differently to entice a strike quicker on that rig

And you would never know you needed to without the camera footage. At least you see the interest. Then use the fish finder to correlate the actions of the fish. That’s where I’m heading on this Pyramid is the perfect testing ground with so many fish. Thanks for the observation

You could try a 360 Shortbus or Pro-Troll flasher like the setup for salmon, it gives it more of a sweeping & turning presentation! i will be there on Nov 15 think ill give it a few passes with that rigged up!

@@johnholman9313thanks seems to be going well after the surgery they had to cut a part of my biceps tendon off. The doctor wanted to save it for me to use as bait. But the hospital sent it to bio waste. Too bad

Where did you find the thermocline? Thanks for the update on the lake conditions. Sorry to hear about your shoulder injury. In the past I had surgery on my shoulder as well. Not fun.

Water temperature was about the same but big changes this weekend from the reports I’m getting. The algae is breaking up and that has triggered a more aggressive bite. Wouldn’t you know it, a horrible time to be recovering. I’ll post any information I get from my sources. Hope you can take advantage of the fall bite. And thanks for the comments.
