Very, very nice Vid! I love you for this! 😘😂😂😂. But the Matches against Freiburg aren't Derbys. Our really Derby is against Karlsruhe and the Stuttgarter Kickers. But unfortunately they play in the fifth Division (called "Oberliga Baden-Württemberg")

It’s not really a derby. The biggest rival of VfB is Karlsruhe, they play in 2nd league now, these games are the real derbies. Against Freiburg is maybe a special match, but not a real derby. Freiburg has no history, for Stuttgart fans it’s a normal game, some Freiburg fans call it derby.

von VfB Seite ist natürlich Karlsruhe das DERBY, genauso wie für den KSC. Aber solange Karlsruhe in Liga 2-3 rumdümpelt ist es halt ein Spiel das in letzter Zeit eher selten stattfindet. Baden-Schwaben hat immer eine gewisse Brisanz, sportlich hat Freiburg dem VfB den Rang abgelaufen, in Sachen Fans hat Freiburg eine deutliche Entwicklung genommen...

freiburg was founded 108 years ago and is still a registered association (eigentragener Verein e.V.). Stuttgart is a stock corporation (Aktiengesellschaft). Don't tell me that freiburg has no history. Maybe stuttgart was more successful in the past, but does that matter? And its not a real derby. it is the rivalry between baden and würtenberg. Baden was merged with Würtenberg without the consent of the Baden population.

VfB Stuttgart e.V. has 75,000 members. SC Freiburg e.V. has 37,000, TSG Hoffenheim e.V. has 11,000. With over 11,000 members, the Karlsruher SC is no longer a big number, even in northern Baden. Freiburg has caught up and overtaken massively here. In Karlsruhe they prefer to talk about Valencia and are still building a new stadium. Finally, the SV Waldhof Mannheim e.V. should be mentioned with its approximately 2,400 members. Heidenheim in the 2nd Bundesliga has around 2,800 members.

Also du kannst mir ja gerne erzählen das Karlsruhe Fans an Hoffenheim oder Freiburg verloren hat... aber Karlsruhe ist immer noch eine Nummer. Die Basis ist halt echt... die jenigen die zu Freiburg gerannt sind als der KSC in die Dritte ging braucht man auch einfach nicht. Die Fanszene ist halt die einzige in Baden die Deutschlandweit Respekt genießt. Außerdem ist der Zuschauerschnitt beim KSC für den sportlichen "Erfolg" richtig gut. Ich weiß ja nicht ob du aus KA oder Umgebung kommst aber die Fans kommen aus ganz Baden und der Pfalz. Viele schätzen halt die Szene und die Tradition. Keiner der anderen badischen Vereine hat eine annährend große Tradition wie der KSC.
