Pyroclastic flows are pretty satisfying to watch. From a distance, that is.

It's a rare thing to see quality footage of pyroclastic flow undulations. It's usually seen on the news somewhere, for a brief couple seconds while some reporter narrates, then cuts away to Tom with the weather. Nice footage man, great job! *_TRUST !!_*

An excellent (and awesome) shot of a pyroclastic flow

I’ve been trying to teach my family how dangerous these are my family thinks that a volcano is raining ashes and lava but in reality mostly their isn’t lava or enough lava to get to a house but their can be pyroclastic flows raining pumice earthquakes and tsunamis five feet deep ash and when Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D if you dug deep enough in Pompeii you could see where the raining pumice ended and where the pyroclastic flow started and also a quick reminder you can start a disaster just from smoke bombs and when volcanos erupt when sulfur mixed with oxygen makes sulfuric acid which can melt through anything in your house and city neighborhood apartment anywhere you go their can be acid rain

Annoying time code, but buddy needs to protect his original footage from the pirates.

This is the best footage of a pyroclastic flow; note the rapidly ballooning cloud and its rapid movement. It's no small wonder that Saint Pierre in Martinique and Plymouth in Monserrat were razed by similar clouds.

Now consider the clouds! A definite indication that the pattering of the rain is not a meaningless sound and that the crashing of thunder and lightning is not a futile din is that those strange beings are created in empty space. Also drops of rain like the water of life are milked from the clouds, suckling the living creatures on the earth so needy and longing for them. These facts show that the pattering and crashing are most meaningful and full of wisdom. For at the command of a Most Generous Sustainer, the rain calls out to those longing for it: "Good news! We are coming!" They express this meaning. Words - 702

Amazing footage, that volcano looks like history in the making - I cannot see the sides of that volcano lasting for too much longer.

Sinabung here erupts like Mount Saint Helens in 1980 but good thing this volcano isn't Mount Saint Helens

This one is especially good because the trees give an excellent sense of scale.

+Petrus Saranadze thanks Petrus - yes having objects like trees in the foreground really can help give the shot a sense of perspective. Similar to when filming big waves. Cheers

Great video, but the time code???? It's not the 1930's anymore!!!
@alloneword74274 жыл бұрын
lol the clue is in the title. It's stock footage. The timecode is there for protection as this will be the master tape. Stock footage is used by other productions to add to their edit so they don't need to go out and film it themselves. It's not public domain footage.

Same XD but it's interesting to watch.

Watching the video, it looked like the flows were being caused by bits of the lava dome breaking off and avalanching down the slopes. Is that correct?
@alloneword74274 жыл бұрын
Some are yes. Chunks of hardened lava can break off and then the rest is what we see.
WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT IS A SMALL VERSION OF THE ERUPTION OF YELLOWSTONE!!!! THIS IS MIND AWAKING. SUPER GREAT VIDEO OF OUR FUTURE!!!! ( HAVE A GOOD DAY.)

Great footage and definition, really stupid idea to cover the pictures with that image counter. At least, make it smaller, hug the frame limit and put it off to a bottom corner. Sheesh!...

Stops footage being stolen and is for producers to easily browse and choose their shots to license. If a few arm chair KZbinrs get riled by it it's no big deal
@stiimuli8 жыл бұрын
what's with the stupid video timer ?
@EarthUncutTV8 жыл бұрын
This is a stock footage screener for producers and production companies - the timer is there for people to select shots they're interested in licensing.
@fotomurthy8 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the effort, but the timer could have been on the left or right corner. That timer in the middle is killing the masterpiece.
