Ford Freda / Mazda Bongo Automatic Gearbox Oil and Filter change.

Very long but seems to miss a filter that ive heard needs cleaning in petrol i presume the tound metal object is a magnet but where is it in box ? Also those stringy bits in the sonic ? Cleaner what are they ? Cheers

I bought a filter and seal kit from ebay so I didn't have to clean the old filter. (search 'Mazda bongo automatic trans sump') It's held on by 4 bolts, unfortunately the footage of changing the filter was no good. The round object is a magnet and it sits on a bump in the bottom of the pan. You can see it in the correct place at minute mark 23:06. The stringy bits in the sonic cleaner are replacement handles for the plastic tray to assist in removing from the cleaner.
