I always wanted that type of long videos everything in one go, one video, no need to see here and there what to learn and what to not, these contents are awesome, obviously other data engineering videos also appreciated, but in one go video means it's focused content. Thanks Ansh for this types of contents. Really appreciate that. Hope ur channel skyrocket.

Bro, I just completed the video, I'm just a beginner in python and sql, but I completely understand each and every topic you explained. I learned window functions after watching your video and practiced in sql as well. I was practicing along with you by Not just watching. It took me 6 days by spending 2 hours a day to complete this video with hands on practice. This is the only course i completed fully. I didn't watch any other course completely. You did magic. Thanks for making this video. I was disappointed in the end that we can use sql while having same performance as pyspark 😂 but good to use sql in spark. You are amazing. God bless you bro❤

I was wondering if you could make a video on how to perform upserts in PySpark, especially when working with subqueries in MERGE or UPDATE statements. Handling correlated subqueries and updates with complex joins is often tricky. Would love to see your insights on optimizing such operations!

34:40 what is a job? In the DAG visualisation it showed scan text and wholestagecodegen. Could you help in understanding what jt is? Also why are there 2 jobs when we executed 1st line of code and a single job when we displayed it? 43:34 okay so schema is nothing but “datatype” and inferSchema is that it will go through the first few entries of the table (except the heading coz we have given option heading true) and then it will assume what datatype it is. Also we can explicitly mention the schema. Which is better? Can yu give some scenarios where these could be used?. Also it says nullable = true. What could that be? Does that mean the entries could have null values? 48:42 when we created the simple dimple our own schema, is it necessary to mention schema of other columns as well? Do we have something like changing particular value in an array to just change schema of our required column? 1:18:47 can we do it like col(‘Location’) ==‘Tier 1’ || col(‘Location’) ==‘Tier 2’ ? 1:21:58 what is the difference between alias() and withColumnRenamed() ? sorry that i am pouring in with a lot of questions, this is my 1st pyspark tutorial
