Pythagorio, Samos after the 6.7 earthquake

October 31, the day after the heavy 6.7 earthquake on Samos. Many people spent the night in their car or in tents put up by the army and the municipality. The aftershocks keep coming, some small, some heavy. People are making sure friends and family are ok, and go out to see the damage that has been done to the village. The saddest news was that of the loss of two teenagers in Vathi yesterday….
We are informed that a big aftershock may occur in the coming days, so we will stay alert and we will keep you informed about our situation.

I was in Kuşadası. It was super scary. I can't imagine our neighbors in Samos. You were the closest to the epicenter. I hope everyone gets well soon in Greece and Turkey.
