For anyone who is interested, in order to avoid placing an 'f' in the text field you can just add return("break") to the function.

What does it mean to bind a key to a tkinter object? Instead of entry i bind the key to the main window root, and it still worked.
@paulmiskew4 жыл бұрын
Hi, What binding means is when you attach a function to an object and/or a behaviour. So for example, you could "BIND" a function to a button, a window or a keypress, mouse press, mouse scroll. In the case of what you are talking about I bound the function to a button, but you can also bind it to a window. Hope that helps. If you are exploring HTML, CSS and JS Look at my most recent video upload where I talk about binding in web-dev. Here is the first of three videos kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2S2o5WHnLqNmqs
