what happened to the URL for the excel file? Clearly you cannot just read a file name w/o letting python know where the directory lives?

A URL is only applicable to a file accessed through the internet. You can just read a local file as shown in the video but you will need to download it from GitHub using the link provided in the description.

I do too don't like to work excel files. I always try do convert the data to csv files and start from there.
