If yes, how do i fix it? Do i just download django again in a virtual environment or do i uninstall the django i installed globally? I'd be really pleased if anyone can answer my questions. Thank you

@O. R.C Despite the fact that most of my pet projects end up being unfinished, that app got to the point where I hosted it and even used it for several months (along with my mom). The goal was to track expenses: accounts, CRUD operations, categories, visualized stats.

@O. R.C In my humble experience, the core skills that get you the job is a) the ability to learn on your own and b) the ability to build things. With passion, which it seems like you have plenty of, these things come as obvious side effects. So just keep on keeping on, sir. Is web development the niche you want to be working in? Or are you just experimenting to see what feels right?

Dear Corey, I've been following your KZbin channel for quite some time now, and I must say, your teaching style is exceptional. From mastering Python basics to diving into advanced concepts, Pandas, Matplotlib, Git, and especially Django, your tutorials have been pivotal in my learning journey as a computer science graduate. Your ability to explain complex topics with clarity is truly remarkable. Now, as I aspire to become a professional Django developer, I believe there's no one better suited to guide us through Django Rest Framework. Your expertise and knack for breaking down concepts would make a tutorial on Django Rest Framework-from basics to production-ready practices-a highly valuable resource for aspiring professionals like myself. Thank you for all the knowledge and inspiration you've shared so far, and I eagerly anticipate any future tutorials you may create. Best regards, Rasel Rana Bangladesh

Dear Corey, after going through many different Django tutorials by different KZbinrs, yours is the best in explaining crucial details and logic behind the Django design structure. Most of the mentors skip that part and jump too soon into the coding details (even the official Django tutorial has this issue, I think). Thank you so much. I finally have a good understanding on this useful tool!

Having originally been through over 75% of this course previously, I have decided to start again from scratch to help reinforce the knowledge. This was my first experience of using Django, and I had essentially no technical back-end understanding what-so-ever. I would like to thank you for providing extremely helpful content, and the fact that I've decided to go through this course again, instead of finding another, means that you have done a fantastic job! Also, as someone who intends to master Python, I plan on watching every single piece of content you produce on the topic. Furthermore, as I delve into other languages, you can be sure that I will first check your library of videos first, since I believe you to be the best resource on the internet. Thank you and well done!

@@rishabh7011 Sorry, I don't know to be honest. However, I'm fairly certain the changes will have been minimal, and so you probably won't even notice any throughout this course. If you do, they will most likely require very small adjustments, nothing to worry about really. As for the learning element, you can absolutely learn from this course despite different versions. Hopefully someone else can give you answers since my coding experience is quite limited, but until then, just crack on as normal :)

This is an excellent series and I believe still relevant with some small edits for Django 5. Edits that are necessary are documented in comments by others. I watched through and coded along but felt there was a lot that went past me without full comprehension so I went back and re-watched while making notes and recoding. This was good as much of my code broke due to copy and paste from the original scripts I had, so it forced me to troubleshoot. There is a lot to learn (I only know python) and it takes time if you don't have experience.

I completed a big part of this series and came back to comment. With only a very basic knowledge of Python (that would be, to know how to install it and going through the basic commands). Even if I minimally understand right now what we are doing in each step exactly, it is an amazing experience to see how to create a REAL blog from scratch and being able to control all of it's elements, from a (not simple, but as simple as it can be) structure. Python and Django are awesome and you sir, are an excellent instructor.

This tutorial series is honestly amazing, potentially the best video series (paid or unpaid) I've found on Django. Just had a couple general questions/thoughts about it: 1. Are you watching this series as complete beginners to Django, or already have some knowledge/have done other short courses? 2. How do you follow along with this series? When Corey uses a module or function you are unfamiliar with, or uses syntax you haven't encountered before, do you stop and pause to read the docs/search web for other examples? I'd like to know more or less at what pace people here are following along? Do you copy code verbatim along with Corey or do you try to reword code in your style after comprehending its purpose?

Thanks! It would be nice getting a little extra money per video, but I'm afraid if I put in more ads then it would be too distracting. People donating allows me to not rely on ads as much, so I really appreciate that!

hey Corey, at 7:30, you can simply hold-click the maximize button(the green button) then choose the desire window that you want to pair, to get that side-by-side features windows. Anyway as always you're the best python teacher ever! Cheers

Bloody marvellous videos, simply put. Well thought out and executed lessons, no nonsense and a LOT of useful information. I learned so much going through this course. If memory serves, we were urged to propose ideas for other videos, so here's what I'm wishing for as I'm (oddly) struggling to find any well written/well done/bug free tutorials/up-to-date material on the topic: An email user activation/registration module to go with the register function (eg. users have to click on a short code link in their email in order to become active on the site, aka. 2-step email auth) Again: Thank you ever so much for this tutorial. You make it easier to learn Django :)

I just finished Flask series last week and i was trying to get some extra configuration in it but got stuck. I looked at some django examples to see if i get the hang of it but the django tutorials are very summier and maybe not even up to date. Luckily you have a new tutorial :) so happy. I love it how you go through the stuff in a fast but understandable speed. and explain the things you need to know in a clear way. New to python and also new to using a mac, your tutorials are the best!!

Finished your Flask Tutorials(Awesome Tutorial Ever) and made my own website.I tried learning Flask through different KZbin and many other courses.Thing that makes your tutorials different from others is the content.Your tutorials give the users what they wished in pretty much simple way a dumb person can understand. Thanks Corey for giving these tutorials for free and I will definitely support you when i get a job
