I wanted to know about merging dataframe with different column name but having same items in rows. For eg: 1st_df has columns (name, orders) and 2nd_df has columns (itemlist, price). But orders and Itemlist have same elements in rows. Now without modifying the dfs, how can I merge both? Please, I need an answer.

Hi Can you please tell more on left_index=True, right_index=True I am trying to merge two dataframes. both have one common column TIME Now right dataframe have one time value several time in TIME column. left one has no prob like this. When i use : W=pd.merge(df1,df2,on='TIME',how='left',indicator=True) The values in TIME repeats. so Does, left_index=True, right_index=True help ? What i want is, I want new merged dataframe to have only df1 TIME values. and rest of the table should fill acordingly.

For that put all files in a folder. Then iterate through all files in that folder in a for loop and then merge them into one dataframe
