Python Physics: What is the Moment of Inertia and How Do You Find it?

In algebra-based physics, you will use the moment of inertia. But where do these formulas come from? Here is a plausibility argument to show where it comes from.
After that, I use random numbers (a Monte Carlo calculation) to determine the moment of inertia for a disk.
