Hi Akanksha , checkout and build both will fetch the code from git and paste it into workspace right then can we do it through only one stage with only checkout or with only build or it is compulsory to do it with both

For linux you need to use shell instead of batch and yes you have to provide your python path in Jenkins

This is a great intro video. I found it to be very helpful to me. I have a basic question on the stages and steps. I can implement pipeline in two ways: Have a single stage and implement everything (checkout, build, test, etc) as a step. Or I can have different stages for each (separate stages for Checkout, Build, deploy, test, etc). What's the advantage of doing it in stages vs having a single stage?
