In this Python programming video tutorial we will learn about translate and maketrans method in detail with example
maketrans method will return a table which contains all old value and new value which need to be replaced.
using that table translate method will replace or delete character from the string.

It won't modify the original string it will return a new string. All string methods that perform changes are just like that: they don't modify the original string in-place, they create and return a new one.

'str1 += ' if you use this in print function it will print as it is..........[actually i didn't get this expression explain please :)] for str1 = str1[:-1] synatx is , string_name[start:end:step] Here we didn't mention anything before : symbol so it will take start as 0. so the expression is same as, str1 = str1[0:-1] we can use negative index in list or strings, so -1 is the last index so it will print all the character from the 0 index to last but 1 index :) negative index video link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6nVemSod8-Soqc
