This was a really inspiring video for my projects. As a molecular biologist, my knowledge of artificial intelligence is very limited. However, this video gave me the idea that it might be possible to design a neural network to define why we are human. If one day I achieve this feat, I will be immensely grateful for your teachings.

Thank you so much, Joao! 😀 There are many similarities between artificial neural networks and the way us, humans, process information! Our patterns of thinking are also a result of the data we are exposed to, and therefore combining it with molecular biology might be the missing link to achieve AGI 😉 (a thinking machine capable of human intelligence). I'm still trying to figure out how it works and how to set up the members only live streams - but I promise to take care of it this month! 😀 I'm planning to build a neural network from scratch in this stream and get you guys involved with picking the type of data it will process, as well as the structure and hyperparameters of the NN. never heard of Taipy before, great video topic. One thing I wanted to find out ASAP was "is Taipy a self contained component, or is it a wrapper around an external for pay service?" Python has a zoo of web gui approaches like Shiny and .Gradio and it's great to hear about Taipy's fresh take.

Awesome video, I stumbled a few times trying to get this working on an M2 Mac, some of the items in the requirements did not seem happy. I commented out a few and got it working. In fact I learn better when there are a few glitches for me to solve. Lots of new concepts here for me, so will go back over your previous videos on Jupyter etc. many thanks.

Excellent tutorial on Taipy. I was looking at Taipy as a tool to create simple Python GUI web app a few days ago as an alternative to other Javascript framework and almost given up because of the lack of clarity from Taipy official website and even their YT videos until I saw your video. I guess they need to hire you to do some PR for them (taipy) because they do have a wonderful framework but don't know how to market it.

I'm using Brackets for years, specifically because of its live preview option. It's great for making web based interfaces! I'm not aware of any security issues... they may exist, I'm just not sure what it's all about 🤷‍♀️

I would recomened extracting the files from the zip then copying the directory going into anaconda prompt and do 'cd {the directory you just copied}' then doing 'pip install -r requirements.txt' Tell me if this helps 😀

Great video, just wondering if it’s possible to have different sets of datasets available to download, ie instead of animals, to have it of objects, like posts, trains, bicycles etc. without being to overwhelming

You can always filter the classes you want to keep, but if you're looking for trains and bicycles - you're probably looking for CIFAR100 rather than 10 (100 diffetent classes of beings and objects). Once you download the dataset, focus on the classes you need with something along the lines of: my_data[my_data["class name"]=="train"] I don't think you can download samples of each CIFAR class individually, but definitely check if Kaggle might have a subset along those lines 😉 Best of luck and I hope it helps! 😃

Streamlit is more for pilots and prototypes. It doesn't scale, it has problem of events and caching, not truly multi-user. Taipy is for pilots and for real multi-user, multi-page application. You don't have any problem of caching and events. It also features a complete management of pipelines and data that can connect to your UI easily. This is not shown in this video, but this makes really easy to create data-driven application

got a bunch of errors when pip -r requirements.txt on new (non-intel) mac... vid title should say "intel only". i got around it by having changed a few things in the requirements file and changing the python ver from 3.11 to 3.10

What are the limitations of deploying the App on Taipy's cloud for someone who wants to run a ML model on a Video, which requires GPU?. Couldn't found any related info about the instances (whether it's CPU or GPU) that run the Apps on their Cloud.

I have a problem, after importing tensorflow I have recived an error "Cannot find reference 'keras' in '__init__.py | __init__.py' " any idea why?

There might be a few reasons, try the following: ⭐ What version of Python are you running in the environment? you may need to upgrade/downgrade ⭐ How did you install Tensorflow? please upgrade pip first, and only then install Tensorflow (I did not install mine with Anaconda) ⭐ How did you import Tensorflow? Also, does the error occur when you install the requirements file that I prepared for you? If not - please create a new working environment, install Python 3.11 in it, and then install my requirements file with: >> pip install -r requirements.txt I hope it helps! 😀

Here's how I did the setup: - create a new working environment with Python 3.11 - install taipy with: pip install taipy - install tensorflow with: pip install tensorflow - install pillow with: pip install pillow - install matplotlib with: pip install matplotlib - install numpy with: pip install numpy - install jupyter notebook with: pip install jupyter I hope it works! Otherwise, please let me know your OS kind or any other information that can help me troubleshoot this further 🙂
