I love the Bolex/pistol grip ideas. I have never seen anyone do that before. I am curious why you didn't mount the pistol grip on the bottom so that the camera could be used in a landscape orientation as this will be the most common use. You only mounted it on the side for portrait shooting??

@@barrywallisable typically on other cameras I have but having the screen on the Pyxis it made the more sense, but on the bottom would work too with a monitor.

I would never switch to % on any Blackmagic camera, because they are notorious for not giving an accurate remaining percentage due to manufacturing variations. Almost everyone I know relies on figuring out the cut off voltages and using those instead; however, if one were to use the percentage I wouldn't trust it below 30%, ever.

@@billyoung9538 I do see your point on the voltage generally when it turns red for me I do the switch. I wish they had more of a percentage based option, would be ideal.
