When Ridge was ready to marry Caroline Spencer he met her friend Brooke. Caroline was ill and they didn’t marry. He became involved with Brooke on the rebound. However he fell in love with her against his mothers wishes. Stephanie set out to find someone to take him away from Brooke. She found Dr. Taylor.
