You don't need skill to play the Pz IIJ, you just have to have the credits to be able to carry a full gold loadout, and spam it at everyone.However, the easier availability of gold ammo, has made a number of tanks at that tier pretty good Pz IIJ killers. Any British tank that can equip the 2 pounder gun, for example, has enough gold pen to take on the Pz IIJ's frontal armor, as long as you don't hit it at an oblique angle. The vision ports are good spots to aim for head on. The Valentine is especially nice, since the Pz IIJ can't pen it frontally, even with gold. Facehugging the Pz IIJ with the Valentine, has always worked for me. I also like to hunt them with the Japanese Type 91 Heavy, with the 47mm gun, but with tanks that the Pz IIJ can pen, you want to take them out from long range, because their gun is not very accurate at longer distances. Up close, the rate of fire can tear you apart quickly, so don't brawl with them if you don't have armor. The British Stuart gets the 2 pounder gun, but can be penned by the Pz IIJ. It has speed as it's advantage, though, so it can run rings around the Pz IIJ, and tear it up from all angles. The side and rear armor of the Pz IIJ can be penned by a lot of other tanks, too, so attacking it from the sides and rear is also a good strategy for killing them, preferably with the assistance of another player, because they can't keep their heaviest armor facing more than one direction at the same time. If it's down to one on one, what the Pz IIJ driver will typically do, is back into a corner where it's sides and rear can't be attacked. If you don't have armor, and you don't have a gun that can pen it with gold frontally, or you've already used up all your gold ammo, then you're better off running out the clock for a draw, than trying to fight it when it's dug in. Getting in front of it when it's dug in, without armor, or a gun that can pen it, is a loss.

Fun fact 9-10 years ago , when Wot went to console, this tank was part of the free starter bundle, still have mine from that....its funny now whenever they sell this tank its expensive....when it used to be the free bundle for new players lol

It has almost 80mm of frontal armor, which nobody at that tier can pen with normal ammo. These things were a terror when you had to use gold to buy premium ammo, because almost nobody could afford it. When gold ammo became available for credits, it elevated several guns at that tier into Pz IIJ killers, and you started seeing them less and less, because they were less fun to club with once the seals became able to fight back. You rarely see them today.

Not bots, noobs at this tier just aren't very good, so they seem like bots. The only good players you get at this tier, are seal clubbers. Most players don't start getting good until at least tier 5 or 6.

At tier III? You're joking right? The only time you get good teams at low tiers, is if you're on a team populated almost exclusively by seal clubbers. A noob can get to tier III in an hour or two of gameplay, and they won't be an expert player after that short amount of time.
