😂 tell me about Hermès 😂😂! It's a dangerous world out there! You want to buy two Bastia Coin Purses (a darker colour for darker bags, a lighter colour for bags with lighter interior), and suddenly you have a collection (that you ACTUALLY USE!! I rotate quite frequently, and fell for their colours; I also love to use them for earphones or as a little catchall), then you find other beautiful SLGs on their websites, and in the end you receive a call from a lovely Lady working for Hermès Customer Service, who tells you, you can place a new order on the French website (everyone is limited in ordering from France, which as a non French person you (probably) don't know from the beginning), but last one for SLGs this semester, nobody will stand in your way (and you think *oh my, a little embarrassing, maybe the email I wrote was too much 🤔🤦🏻‍♀️🙈🙊?*) 😂... As I said, dangerous game; but actually, it is with all luxury goods, once you dipped your toes into all this, it's hard to completely turn away from it 😉 Loved the Q&A, Amy 🤗💕!

@@FashionablyAMY As far as I understood, it is divided into different sections: as far as my experience goes, there seems to be no limit in placing orders on the Hermès-website of your own country; therefore the colour selection is more limited, the beautiful vibrant colours are gone very fast and aren't replaced that often. Ordering from the French Hermès website seem to be possible for everybody; they do have a wider range of colours, more options to choose from, but (which I absolutely didn't know) because of Article L122 (an article that should guarantee that customers should have somewhat equal possibilities to make purchases on a website), you are limited in how many products you buy. I have to read all this thoroughly and ask an SA from a Boutique, because at first I thought it was limited to single colours (e.g., one person shouldn't buy ten Calvi cardholders in Rose Pourpre), then someone from customer service told me, it is limited for a certain product (in our example: three Calvi cardholders per semester), but there also seem to be a general limitation for a classification of products (here: SLGs). In the next semester, you can place new orders on the French website again. But I for sure want to learn more about this, because whilst I absolutely understand that one certain product shouldn't be bought over and over again by one person, I don't understand yet why it is a problem buying, let's say, a Calvi, a Bastia, a Porte-monnaie Silk'In, a Portefeuille Silk'In Compact, and a Porte-monnaie 24 and maybe a Béarn. Those are very different products, not every customer is interested in these (whereas, as you mentioned, the bags, especially Kelly, Birkin or Constance, are highly sought-after products). I hope I will gain more information about this, it's for sure interesting (and a little restricting, of course 😉), and I was happy to let you know about what much I know so far 😊💕!
