100% agree about Easter! I've tried thinking of a way to make it as big of a deal as Christmas but I feel like there just isn't as much available. Whenever anyone asks about my favorite holiday I say my favorite season is Christmas but my favorite holiday is Easter.

I love when we get lots of snow to cover all the bleh dead stuff... but I'm also terrified of going out when we do get lots of snow. Which, thankfully, in southern Ontario we don't get a whole lot except for Jan-March. This was a fun video to watch, Chantel!

This was such a great Q&A! I now feel like I want to add the eating of sugar cookies to the first Christmas movie watch of the year with my own family 🥰 and I completely agree with you - I wish there was as much hype around Easter as there is around Christmas. As much excitement and anticipation… that would just be so beautiful. Maybe somehow we can start that through all these bookish accounts… haha

Catching Christmas was our book club pick this month. This is actually my third year of reading Christmas books as well! I loved A Quilt For Christmas. Book planning is like meal planning, I plan out my books for the week so I'm ready for my next book 😂. KZbin has helped me with crochet, I had to teach myself. We got snowed in the week before Thanksgiving. Ended up getting over 4-5 feet over night, it's why I asked the question. 😁

Do come to Croatia! My husband and I are Canadians who fell so in love with Croatia we brought a house and live here as much as we legally can. Italy is pretty awesome, too. I love how scary alike we can be and yet we're very different, too. That's always fun. For example, James is always a favorite (although I hated it when we had to memorize it. Sigh. Stupidity as a kid... limitless). But if I had a second "go to" book, it would likely be Ephesians And now I have to rewatch because there was something you said that made me go, "Oh, I should send her that." But I can't for the life of me remember. I'm tired. Maybe it's bed time.

@@ChantelReadsAllDay It all started when I had health problems about 10ish years ago. Part of it had me struggling to sleep at normal times so I gave up and just slept when I was tired and got up when I wasn't. I ended up pretty much perfect at the 6/2 thing so I stick to it BUT... I also still sleep when I'm tired. About 7:30 every night I get an hour or two nap as well. I need LOTS of sleep. Always have.

I have a big problem with The Chosen. They make Jesus out to not be divine. They have him struggle with the sermon on the Mount?! Come on. Also, he says “I am the law of Moses.” It’s a very well done show, but not when it comes to theology.

They made him relatable….. the chosen even states before every episode to please read the Bible to get more accurate interpretations…( Even this is a Botched up summary. ) They try and are spreading the gospel that’s what counts.
