Isn't a GER considered 100% Jewish and you're not allowed to treat him as somebody who is not? So why can he not be a judge or a king - if he is actually one of your brothers?

P.A.&N.B. Pagans or idolaters can actually be nice and decent people - even though their beliefs are mistaken.

Is there a particular reason why the jews fear the paganism so much? What is Judaism's understanding of death and property? How would that compare to what the paganism outlook on death and property is and has it ever been examined and put into juxtaposition against the Jewish understanding to reconcile the differences, understand them by serious jewish Torah/Talmud scholars?

@@divinewisdomliveabetterlif3511 Time-stamp of the video - my bad. I was watching a few lessons of the Rabbi Dr. Yitzchak Breitowitz, and decided to ask the question on a more recent video, thinking that there will be a higher chance of answer. Here's the video and timestamp: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqmQgHeZgZeZa5osi=HXfMGiz_lM30S39F&t=4584 . However, the question is so general, because I've seen a few places where the question of paganism/star worshippers had arisen and there was always a negative stance towards pagans as being immoral and so on. And so naturally I developed an interest, why for an example, muslims or christians are of a lesser concern to Jews than pagans. What's the origin of that belief, because both muslims and christians have shown themselves very capable of being immoral. I suppose the point of the question was to learn what this judgement of pagans is based on - is it a thorough philosophical analysis of their beliefs? If so, is there a text where I can learn about this analysis from Jewish perspective? Is there some insurmountable difference in underlying assumptions of existence that is a threat to HaShem? In other words, what is the source of this stance on Paganism beyond a simple moral judgement of actions described by parties that were definitely not historically disinterested in portraying certain peoples as savages? Well, to explain the outlook of pagans in a few words would be a difficult task, because it's not a uniform religion. I can guide you to few examples like the teachings of Dacian Zalmoxis, Vikings and their numerous realms of the dead, people of the steppes with Tengrism, Hinduism and in some ways Buddhism does not stray away too far from the basic ontological understanding of the world as such. I would say that in general, Pagans have a much more uniform view of how the world works and their place in time being in a way destined, their body - a temporary manifestation of the will of the gods so on and so forth.

Maimonides was a convert. Why do we rule on Torah Law by his opinions?

You are asking a good question, but Maimonides was not a convert. Also, you are mistaken about the notion that a convert's legal rulings should be less authoritative then someone born Jewish - what matters is strictly the level of objective knowledge of the Torah. Converts and descendants of convert were among the greatest rabbis of the Mishnah period. However, if I am not mistaken, a convert couldn't be the head of the Jewish court in Mishnah times.
