Somethings that is connected with the practical things can ofc be adapted to changes, but not because it's "modern times" only, it's because we get new problems that needs to be resolved in a manner that let's us practice the deen in the best way possible. It is amazing how some go out of their way to make halal a poem with very troublesome phrases. Is it not easier to leave it? Is Tauhid not the most important pillar of Islam? Exaggeration even in poetry is not good. This type of exaggeration is what led humankind to worship of idols and is exactly what led the Christians to worship Jesus. I believe it is better to stay away form them

Much of Hindoestani people really there islaam is so different they go to graves full of colours and rozens and they say you can go to the grave and ask dua because it is a sheik wali (abdul qadir geylani) and they are not dead so you can ask and they do wasila for you. Why the profet sav when he was alive he say to his own child aisha i can not help you to enter jennah. So how can the graves help you my friend. But what you tell them they will never leave there shirk and they will go on with it. And they dont say qale rasullallah sav they say qale my sheik from qadiri tarikat. Them have changed the islaam to another way and they are really on shirk. And there mosque somtimes full of christmas lights please get it out the mosque please we are not christians. And we love the prophet sav so love him but dont do it like the christians did with isa aleyhisselaam. Stop with praising him like in this book. Euzubillah we love the prophet more than that but dont do what the christians did.

It is shirk because there is no room for "poetic license" in Islam. You can't manipulate words that are open for interpretation when it's regarding commandments from Allah SWT. Like when the poem contains lines about the Prophet (SAW) that say "And who else there, besides you, who I can call out, at times of distress and problems?” This is clear shirk just because you're writing a poem doesn't mean you can disregard our Creator who is the only one the Prophet (SAW) HIMSELF and anyone should turn to at times of distress... I don't understand why you said there is no "clear" shirk... Because clearly this line alone (out of many, if I may add) is full on shirk.

Whom can I turn to But you when the Encompassing Event befalls?” The “Encompassing Event” (wrongly translated us “times of distress and problems”) refers specifically to the distress that befalls all creation on the Day of Resurrection. As authentic hadiths in Bukhari [3092], Muslim [287], and elsewhere affirm, all of creation will go from one prophet to another, each of whom is busy with themselves-out of absolute awe of Allah-and tells them to go to another prophet. Finally, all of creation goes to our Beloved Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace), seeking respite from the tremendous tribulation and distress of that Day. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) answers their call, affirming that this is from what Allah granted him, and turns to Allah seeking respite for creation, and this is granted to him by Allah This lines were meant to the time of of the akhira, were rasulAllah intercedes for us. because when the time of yawmul akhira people asking for intercedes for many prophets, all of them denies the people who comes to them except the prophet pbuh.

You have to finnish the verse. Its 'who else can i take shelter besides you at the day of widespread calamity' and you can find this in the sahih hadith as the prophet said on the day of judgement we will have nobody to intercede for us except the prophet saw.

Quran strongly distances itself from any allegations of it being poetry and vindicates any charges against the Arabian prophet of being a poet (21:5, 37:36, 52:30, 26:224, 69:41, 36:69). The Quran also in the main, condemns poets (26:221-226) and likens their speech to deliberate ambiguity (36:69) and those that follow them are deemed as being 'ghawa' (misguided, astray, perverse, deviators). In contrast, believers are instructed to engage in clear, straightforward speech (33:70; 4:9).

Abdullah Ibn Rawaahah R.A and Hassan ibn Thabit R.A were also famous poets and if you read Imam Tirmidhi's book Shmail Muhammadiyyah there is a whole chapter on poetry and it shows how Rasul S.A.W infact praised Hassan and made Dua for him and for others who would recite poetry out of love for Rasul S.A.W and in his defense. Little do you salafis know!

qasida burda....An example of shirk in ruboobiyyah is the stanza: “And of your generosity is the (creation) of the Wolrd and its co-wife (meaning the Hereafter)…” Here it is as if the World and the Hereafter was created from the generosity of the Prophet (SAW). An example of Shirk in Asma wa sifaat: “And part of your knowledge is the knowlege of the Tablet and the Pen…” So PART of the knowledge of the Prophet (SAW) is the knoewledge that is encompassed in the LAwh al-Mahufdh - the tablet that has EVERYTHING written on it!! and that is only ‘part’ of his knowledge!! Compare this mystic poem with the authentic hadeeth in Bukhari where a young girl said “And we have a prophet who knows what will happen tommorrow.’ to which the Prophet (SAW) said, “Leave this (bit), and say the rest of it.”

From our generosity is the world and its partner [the Hereafter]…” Imam Ibrahim al-Bajuri makes clear in his commentary on the Burda, what this means is that the best of this world and the next is from the gift the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave-by Allah’s granting-to humanity. The best of this world is the guidance of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), by which alone this worldly has any meaning; and the best gift of any human to humanity in the Hereafter is the intercession the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) makes-as established in rigorously authentic hadiths, as we will see below. this is the problem with you guys, most salafi laymen muslim nowadays is always declaring a hujja without understanding it or clarifying what it mean it to be. there’s a saying that “Ruling on a matter comes after sound understanding of it.”

It is better to clarify of what they meant of their sayings rather than judging it right away without any clarification.
