Since you have already visited India for Holi, I would recommend visiting India at another festival called Diwali. It's not like Holi to enjoy on the streets and is family oriented like Christmas. When in India, you should visit Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Sikkim. The scenery there is out of this world, the ethnic people there are off Nepali origin, you will love the experience there.

Hi Susan, I would like to request you next time you visit India please don't go to metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore Chennai etc. instead visit the North east part of India like arunachal pradesh, Sikkim, mizoram etc. Explore the northern region like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K. For beaches you can visit Indian islands like Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar islands. Also you can visit southern region like Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil nadu. And also you can explore Central India as well i.e MP which has many tiger reserves, national park and a lot more spots. India has so much to offer, here you will find from coldest environment in J&k to some of the hottest environment like that in Rajasthan. From hilly mountains in Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh to sea beaches in southern part.
