Omg I had scoliosis when I was a 6th grader in Elementary school and had to get surgery on my spine during the summer of 6th grade. My spine was also very severe and my doctor told me that I would die in less then a year if I didn’t get surgery. I’m so glad you’re doing well now! ❤️ I so so love your videos and support you in no matter what you do Michelle! You really aspire me! 😭💕

I had to get spinal surgery, too! My situation was actually very extreme, with 2 curves of 50+ and 70+ degrees. Hope you're feeling so much better post-op!

It's so cool because I had a spinal surgery for my scoliosis in high school too! My scoliosis was severe as well; it exceeded 60 degrees. It's so cool to know that someone else has gone through it, because I've never met another person who has!

in my opinion, if somebody does plastic surgery and it boosts up their self esteem and self love i dont mind. if you want somebody to be happy then you’ll support them 100% the whole way! fixing something about yourself that makes you unhappy is the exact same thing as getting braces to fix your teeth.

Laras Purdiani no, thats not what im trying to say. im saying that IF someone i know or a close friend wants to get plastic surgery and are afraid people will judge them, i will support them no matter what. if it boosts up their self esteem and makes them at least happier i’ll be happy too. it doesnt mean im encouraging it. im saying im accepting with whatever they decide because it simply isnt my life. i had a friend from the eleventh grade who got her nose done over the summer and ever since shes been happy and always smiling. before she always complained about how “ugly” she was (though of course that wasnt true at all). im just saying, if it brings a smile to her face and helps her confidence theres no reason to bring her down for doing somethings that guarantees her at least some self appreciation.

she definitely did. lots of influencers are doing this where they express their plastic surgery "philosophies" (the very common "not personally for me but i say do what makes you happy" vague bs) and it's a little misleading and even harmful to viewers - especially younger ones - because they compare themselves to already done up people who are there to quite literally influence those around them

You're so cute! I also had scoliosis when I was 18. I mean probably had it longer since I found out when I was 18. It was mainly for my lower back. I actually had to get surgery twice because the first one I had screws holding the spine & tailbone and 2yrs after was the second surgery since the screws infused and everything was healed so yeah now I'm 28, healthy but I am like 4'9 & 96lbs (really short and under weight T_T lol). :) Good to hear that you are doing good and I love you youtube videos! :)
