I don’t think it would be beneficial to point fingers at one another. The most important question is for each person to ask God how does He feel about the way we do relationships and are we honoring His desires for our lives. If couples choose to operate their relationship as though they are married without a true covenant before God as mapped out in the word, a man or woman probably won’t feel the need to commit further if everything that is only suppose to come with marriage is already happening without either of them fully committing to one another. It lessens the chances. But with prayer and choosing to do things God’s way…it’s possible.
