When you casually mentioned the sleep thing I remembered my testimony when I was a small child I suffered from night terrors, I would scream, cry and try to frantically leave the house. Around 5 or 6 years old my parents took me to the doctor (he was a Christian MD that I saw all the way until he retired during my first pregnancy lol) and he prayed that the night terrors would leave, I went home and slept peacefully and gave my life to Christ a few days later after sleeping peacefully each night. I’m 31 and have never had a sleep terror since! God you said you do not give us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind! I pray that You would heal Caleb from night terrors and that You would fill his sleep with peace and the fruit of your Spirit. I pray you would protect their sleep, their marriage and continue to bless them for Your glory. Amen 🩷 this podcast is such an encouragement to me I’ve been following you for a few years. Love you guys!

Also the best decision I did was wait for my husband after previously not waiting but when we met we both agreed to wait and it was so worth it! We now have two beautiful sons and God has blessed our marriage and family more than I could ever imagine and I wholeheartedly believe that it’s because we put Him first and He is at the center of our marriage. So absolutely wait for your husband! I encourage this as well❤️

I had to see if anyone else noticed, but just cracking up because she said “extra day in your hour” (5:50) twice & i thought i was hearing it so wrong 😭 but i LOVE it because I work in social media & it is so easy to make these little common errors so this is so real. thank you LOL

Married for 2.5 years here. I would even go as far to say that I wouldn’t be dating if you’re not in a place where you could see yourself potentially getting married within the next 18 months if the relationship got to that point.

Praying for Kaleb’s night terrors!! I know my nephew suffered them when he was 4 years old until around 6 but my brother just kept praying for him every night and eventually they stopped so I pray that they go away for Kaleb too! I can’t imagine how stressful that is 😩

Masseter botox is a wise decision and I think you should continue with it. I have this same problem and my teeth grinding has lead me to a couple tooth fractures, and even wearing down some of the length of my teeth. Also helps with tension headaches. Facial slimming is just a bonus, but there's no vanity in this at all- I totally support:)

Unpopular opinion but I think Botox promotes vanity and I really disagree with it. By constantly getting your nails done, hair done, Botox and face things etc, I think it sends the message that physical appearance is really important, as well as saying God made a mistake when he made you. There's a mismatch between words and actions.

I think doing all those things to post about it and constantly take selfies is vanity. But upkeep and wanting to look good is not a bad thing.

Me too. Being undefiled. Through Christ's grace I'm make up and nails free. Yet it's my biggest vice so I try not to judge because if I snap I'll become a glittery pumped up monster lady.

and I think not caring and improving your appareance is lazyness.

@@plavaovcica there's a difference between making an effort to be clean and well presented and making your physical appearance everything.

But botox doesn’t really change your appearance, it just prevents wrinkles and freezes up your muscle I honestly don’t think it’s a bad thing, but with that and most things, the heart posture behind it is what really matters

An extra day in your hour?? That was cute 🥰 I had my last session of therapy with someone I have been working with for 2.5 years. It was so bitter sweet. She is going off to have her baby.
@kerirooney52519 ай бұрын
Ps I had extreme nightmares from very young until I was in my early twenties and I actually had a prayer session with someone where a lot got broken off of me spiritually and they stopped! I also had to say out loud “I claim protection over my dreams in Jesus name- the enemy has no authority over my dreams and only the kingdom of God may influence my dreams tonight” or something like that before bed every night and that also helped. If any come back I go back to that prayer and take back authority and ask God if I’ve allowed any doors to open that could have caused it. Sometimes He does show me something I shouldn’t have allowed in front of my eyes or in my ears and I simply repent and ask Jesus to wash me of it. but sometimes the enemy is just attacking me and Jesus gives all authority to us by His blood to say no to those attacks 🙌🏻 God is so good and has freed me for about 5 years now when I used to be tormented nightly!

With modesty I do think that we shouldn’t be showing everything but for me growing up I was told that my body is shameful and what my body does is shameful and the “your body is a temple” was often used in a your body is evil and needs to be hidden. Any desire to be proud of my body and the work I’ve put into making me healthy was also out down like I want to show it off and again this isn’t a I show everything but I am still struggling with seeing my body as good rather than shameful.

This!! I totally understand! Something that really helped to change things for me is remembering that we are daughters of the KING!!! He knitted us together in our mothers womb, beautifully and wonderfully made… that is a TREASURE and a gift! So we should treat them as such, knowing we are more precious than rubies, our bodies aren’t just for anyone to see/have! We can confidently stand in our beauty (not needing to show anything off or be ashamed) - We are daughters of a royal King! :)

I have a question for your next q and a. How would you handle a situation where you accidentally befriended someone who has an extreme potty mouth? I mean they use profanity every other word kind of friend. Naturally, when meeting new people, we do not really know them until they become comfortable around us and really let go, so I want your opinion on this situation.

night terrors advice- sleep with your bible open. Specifically I have Psalm 91 always open. Also in the dream to actively imagine where the Lord is in the moment whether that’s in front of you, between you and whatever is attacking you and to openly rebuke the thing. I have suffered from night terrors in the past. hope this helps 🧡
