Just started following the two of you and I just have the utmost respect for both of you. I started to follow other couples but you two have something so different from other couples. My step-son just came out to me and I am so lucky to call him my son, I feel so blessed that he could talk to me and the communication that we have. I had bariatric surgery 2 years ago. Ur taste buds changes. U get sick if u eat hardly anything. It’s definitely a major life changing event. I’m so pissed because I’ve gained 10 pounds and I eat hardly anything but I think I’m not getting enough protein so I’m back on protein shakes religiously now and I’m exercising 30 mins longer than my normal workout daily but it’s truly a massive life changing event. Food I feel like will never taste the same again. And being 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Mexican it’s been depressing. I can’t eat literally anything and it sucks but I’m way thinner and most importantly way healthier. Keep it up Adam, Mijo. You look amazing.

Awww that is so sweet. My youngest daughter is 25 in September. I’ve known she was gay since probably 3 years old. Maybe younger. Waited for her to come out. And she didn’t until high school but obviously I knew. I actually had a lot of friends from the LGBTQ community. I was born in Boyle heights, moved to Orange County (so cal) when I was 6 and went to college at the university of San Francisco during the height of the AIDS epidemic. Lost some amazing friends who were family. And maybe this prepared me to be in tune w/ my youngest daughter & knowing her sexuality really young. It makes my heart so happy to hear parents who are trying to educate themselves. It’s just so beautiful. Your son is lucky to have a Mom like you. Big hug to you, Mama 😍🌺💞
