Actually I may have asked that previous question before. On the subject of guitar learning tips, I found learning how to play a different instrument and learning some stuff about sheet music and scales actually really helps broaden your guitar playing. My first instrument was flute so when I learned guitar I picked up things like scales and intervals pretty intuitively and I found that that knowledge helps a lot in figuring out songs since most songs tend to follow either the major or minor scale etc. Also having another instrument to play also prevents you from getting bored of guitar lol.

I thought so at first but then you were talking about another account who regularly engages on your channel Also, I impressed with how you can learn every detail by using your ear. I’m an accomplished songwriter and I still don’t have a great ear. I still have to look at tutorials on KZbin in order to get some details correct You’re actually improving at guitar with each passing week and it’s fascinating to watch your transformation in real time

⁠​⁠​⁠@@dragonrapidmusic yeah they just introduced me to Danzig and all his musical endeavors but I was answering your question! I think learning by ear comes easier to some people more than others. It was pretty simple for me but I’ve always had a pretty good musical ear. Though I still have to look at KZbin tutorials to learn songs too sometimes! When I first started playing, there were a lot of songs I wanted to learn that had no tutorials or tabs so it kinda forced me to do it on my own.

I went to one guitar lesson and uh idk it really wasn’t that helpful. IMO you should reserve it to like intermediate or advanced stuff. Like learning chords you can do yourself.
