Wow and thanks so much for this video! Love what Mufti says about the 'Islamic clothes', black hijabs etc and that it has no basis in religion but sets the norm of appearance which is weird for other non-Muslims in our societies; I always wonder why we Muslims do not have the courage to say that the way many of us dress is just a fashion instead of claiming that it is from quran and/ or sunnah; why developing this myths about an Islamic dress code? Later in the video, the discussion about music shows clearly where we are today: that some muslims 'think' something is haram therefore all other muslims have to be safeguarded from their whole tradition! How many texts from great scholars of Islam (i.e. Imam as-Suyuti + countless others!!) talk i.e. about sex in all aspects; now what?! according to the safeguarders all this should be erased from our heritage bc it might lead to zina and HE commanded us to 'command the good and forbid the evil'. This is sooooo odd + arrogant! We need to wake up otherwise the world will diagnose what we are: mentally ill.
