The basic questions are: 1. Did Allah or the prophet authorize the documentation of anything other than the Quran? 2. If they did then why was not the documentation done appropriately during the life of the prophet just as the Quran was documented whether verbally or on parchments? 3. If the prophet was assigned the duty of explaining the entire Quran to mankind than why did the prophet not explain every Ayah immediately after it came down .. and out of 6 volumes of Hadith… why is there only 30 or so actual Hadith that actually address and explain specific Ayah?? Idol worship does not just mean worshiping statues… it can mean focusing on anything that deviates us off from Allah’s straight path… And the Hadith definitely succeeds in deviating us off HIs way and on to 6 volumes of garbage.

Surah Luqman Verse 6 وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن یَشۡتَرِی لَهۡوَ ٱلۡحَدِیثِ لِیُضِلَّ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲ وَیَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِینࣱ And among the people is one who buys the diversion (Lah'wa) discourse (El'Hadiithi) in order to deviate from the way of GOD without knowledge and accepts it n mockery. As usual, hadithyoon take only part of an Ayah and leaves out the rest. Allah (SWA) clearly states: وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا ۚ مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِى مَا ٱلْكِتَٰبُ وَلَا ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِن جَعَلْنَٰهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن نَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ. Which clearly shows that the Prophet (AS) guides through the light (Al Quran).

We have been given one perfected, fully detailed, unchanging Book from All-knowing God. But Sunnis scholars will put Qur'an aside if its to stubbornly arguing things which isn't in the Qur'an. No wonder, they even shamelessly twisting their own sources if needed to. Clearly the prophet and his close sahabas NEVER gives anyone any permission to write hadith, or make hadith books and opinion of their scholars fundamental in our deen. Who then gives the authority to authenticate what to accept and what to reject? What wahy from God, needs their classification, sahih-dhaif-maudhu? They basically playing God and destroying the deen under our noses!

The verse the sunni quoted (actually he choped it, as usual...) وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِى مَا ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ وَلَا ٱلْإِيمَـٰنُ وَلَـٰكِن جَعَلْنَـٰهُ نُورًا نَّهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن نَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ And thus We have revealed to thee a Spirit of Our command. And thou - thou guidest to a straight path: (42:52) Note how this directly relates the Qur'an to how, if this reading is correct, "Muhammad" "guides" to a straight path... the context makes it clear that he does not do it on his own.... but with what he received of God..., again explicitly the Writ/Kitab is mentioned... not any ahadith nonsense nor any sunnah... My inclination is to read this as a passive verb on the basis of common sense and the verses where the Messenger is told that he guides no one, and that it is God who guides (for example 10:43, 28:56). Irony is that he failed to quote even a single full verse from the Qur'an in the entire debate shows where the Qur'an is placed within them, and when he did so, it was a verse meaning taken out of context. The quoted verse in full clearly says about the Qur’an that the Prophet could use to guide by/with 42:52-53 And so We have sent to you ˹O Prophet˺ a revelation by Our command. You did not know of ˹this˺ Book and faith ˹before˺. But We have made it a light, by which We guide whoever We will of Our servants. And you are truly leading ˹all˺ to the Straight Path-the Path of Allah, to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Surely to Allah all matters will return ˹for judgment˺. Prophet calls us to straight path, not guide by himself 23:73 وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ ٧٣ And surely you are calling them to the Straight Path, But what that guy did was nothing new, which has already been said in the Qur'an 2:75 So can you [believers] hope that such people will believe you, when some of them used to hear the words of God and then deliberately twist them, even when they understood them? 3:78 There are some among them who distort the Book with their tongues to make you think this ˹distortion˺ is from the Book-but it is not what the Book says. They say, “It is from Allah”-but it is not from Allah. And ˹so˺ they attribute lies to Allah knowingly. May Allah guide us all and him as well.
