The left-handed guitar struggle is real. When I was in middle school, our music class has a guitar playing section and they had to special order 5 left handed guitars for me and a few others. Thankfully I chose the flute and not the guitar but, had to train myself to use my right hand more often than I normally would in every day life. To be a left handed Person in the music and art scene is definitely more of a challenge, you have to adapt and kind of adjust or get creative with having to do things left-handed that were meant for right handed people. Especially when it comes to drawing, I had to learn to work right to left and wear a glove so I don’t smudge. I always find it cool when I come across artists or musicians who are also left handed. Thank you again for another incredible video and explaining things so well, Lonny! :)

I didn't find Andy Black and BVB until the last year or so and would have loved to have seen Andy's solo project. If you guys ever do decide to do that again, I'd definitely want to catch that. I do see what you mean though about having to find the line between whether there would be enough separation between that project and BVB.

Lonny, I'm a fan, could you film backstage of the bvb tours and shows? i love to watch this
@LonnyEagletonMusic2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Gabriel! I totally agree that some backstage content would be amazing for the Vlogs. The trick with vlogging though is to make sure I’m respecting everyone’s privacy. Not everyone wants a camera rolling on them in every situation, and the backstage area is definitely one of those “private areas” where people feel they can zone out if they need to without the pressure of a camera being on. Which doesn’t really lend well to a vlogging situation just in terms of respecting others’ privacy. That being said if the opportunity comes up I’ll certainly try to include that type of stuff in future episodes. Thanks for checking out the videos!

I think it's ironic how left handed guitars are made for lefties. My left hand doesn't work that well due to a perinatal stroke. When I did play guitar, I played left handed with a thumb pick. I don't really remember why I stopped, but I could start again.

As a college student at the moment its hard to try and save money to buy a guitar but I will most definitely look into the used options because as of right now I only have a Huntington acoustic that was given to me by a friend. Anyways thank you so much for the advice!!! Love you and hope you are doing well!!!! ❤️❤️
@LonnyEagletonMusic2 жыл бұрын
Happy to help! I always recommend starting on an electric instead of an acoustic because the strings are much easier to press down. Although acoustic is great too, it can be a lot more challenging on inexperienced fingers.
