All reporters aren't ready with their questions. They called for Tun M's attention then shoot what ever stupid questions which popped up. They all asked 'agak-agak' and unimportant questions which in the end Tun M just easily settle it. T Mun is way ahead from the reporters. Bless him.

Please don't embarrass yourself and have some respect to the officials who must directly address your inquiry. The only reporter who introduced himself was Joseph from Reuters, but he undid himself by asking more questions than was practical for Tun M to answer. #facepalm

All these reporters must sent to classes for interview training. Many of the questions are irrelevant and doesn't helps the situation. Pls prepare proper questions and it must benefit the readers. I’d argue that it would be more impactful when the PM comes out himself to relay the message. This allows for the people to see and not feel too detached to their own government. And relayed message has the issue of drafting answers which does not show competence of the PM. If the PM is tested on the spot it’s a test of competence as well.

Yes but think about how different of an impression it may give if the PM stays silent and watch while the ministers answer all the question. There is no test on whether would he even give a general answer or a detailed answer which leaves the public not being able to gauge the potential of its PM. Though we can say that Mahathir is most likely competent due to his history. We need to rmb for those who are new to politics needs an introduction. And in order to safeguard itself rather than following the general consensus doing small actions like this would allow for newcomers to evaluate the PM with a clean picture.
