As the mom to a 13 year old I always enjoy hearing new moms go through the same Journey that I went through. Just understand that you will never feel like you find that balance between putting yourself first and putting your children and your husband first. You will never feel secure 100% about anything that you do as a mother and as yourself. So don't let that be your goal. Your goal should be to raise your child as best as you can without driving him so crazy that it is no longer funny, or doing anything that would cause permanent damage, or more than five sessions with a psychologist when he gets older. And for yourself it should be to make sure that when you look in the mirror you see your name just as much as you see your role (Liz vs. Mommy, Mrs. X, Sebastian's mom, etc.).

I like that you keep your husband and personal life on the low. My boyfriend & I have been together 2yrs plus and there's no sign of him on my social media. Every once in a while there's a sneak of him (mostly an arm lol). Nowadays some people feel like they need to know every single detail of your life (chismosas) and if you don't talk about it, then it must be a secret or you're ashamed of it....um no bish! The importance of tithing is so overlooked. I tithed whilst in a lot of debt. And before I knew it the debt was gone and I was blessed with Double income. God is so faithful we just have to believe that he’s with us.

One of my biggest fears with being a young first time mom is loosing who I am because I’m too busy being a wife and mother. I was worried that I’d be seen as selfish if I ever tried to have some me time so I’m really glad you talked about that!!! I love your videos so much! ❤️

Breastfeeding your child as long as you can is the best thing ever. My cousins wife breastfed her first born just until he was about to turn 2 years old due to the fact that she found out that she was pregnant. Although before then she already started to weaning him off slowly because she thought that if she did get pregnant soon she didn’t want to have a hard time with him. She just had her 2nd. Son around the time you had Sebastian and now her first born will be 3 in 2 weeks! Congratulations on your son and good luck with the teething stage. 😞

Hey girl, I just wanted to and I know it's definitely heartbreaking watching the babies go through the teething process and not having a magic wand to be able to fix it. But I was reassured buy some very wise woman at the beginning of motherhood that the best part is that there is a 90% chance that they will never ever remember we will but the babies will never remember the teething process so awesome tidbit of information that kind of help me through my 3 kids plus 4 grandbabies now so hang in there it gets better*😇❇😇

hi K. I'm going to give scripture to what I will say. 1corinthians 4:7, Malachi 3:8-9, 2nd Corinthians 9:6-7. If you are a child of God through Jesus Christ,He will take care of you and bless you whether you give or not; But why wouldn't you want to give? Yes,there are churches that are not operating in the love of Godbut greedand that's another thing this is not about giving to get, or some stale religious excercise. but about giving back to the Lord cheerfully for all he has done for you. Whether one believes it or not, all that we have and are, come from God down to our breath and existence. It should be a natural thing to want to part with what we are only stewards of.we give to our church so has to help keep it running,and blessings others with spiritual and practical help. When one does not give,it speaks of fear in letting go,a lack of trusting God or believing he had nothing to do with you working for it so it's yours. You give because of your love for him. God gives his all,and so he will give back to you not just monetarily but in so many ways. When you trust in him he is able to do much more than we can think. But we have to trust him,not in word only but in action. Believing who he is.i am going through hard times partly because God is stretching my faith. Will I trust and believe that he will bring me through? And though I fall in my belief at times,he will do what he said.i can give testimony after testimony of how God came through. So if I have 10 dollars to my name,he will get a dollar trust me ,I will get it back in more ways that what I gave. And that dollar will goes towards helping someone in the body of Christ much worse off than me. I highly respect your desire to keep your husband off the channel , I mean we all have curiosity but we HAVE to understand that there’s no GOOD reason to know anything about another woman’s man. I’m curious cause I’m married and I like to know if things about my marriage are normal but if you tell too much or show too much about your husband the only thing that will come if it is negative things like jealousy. And I believe that jealousy alone can cause bad effects so good for you for having the wisdom to keep private things private. If more people did that there would be much less tribulation in the world!
