Nice post, short game work! Try walking that course with a Sunday bag and just a few clubs, forces you to develop shots and work the ball with odd clubs. Walking and grinding it out! I visited Goat Hill because of the story behind the course...great place, great story of rejuvenation!.

I first was introduced to you via GM golf, then recently Good Good. You're definitely one of the better characters they've had in a bit. You're quite spicy!😂 Tip for putting- don't be scared to run it by the hole. It's better to be just as long past the hole as you are short, but being long gave it a chance to go in. And yes, practice a putting routine!

Found your channel for the first time and loving your outlook. Have you tried putting looking only at the hole as you make putting stroke? I have find that doing so on 5 to 25 foot putts helps me to see the line better and have more distance control. And when i go back to putting normally, I have better feel and can imagine seeing my ball start on my intended line.

One thing I changed to suck a little less was with my grip. With my chips and driver I keep my right thumb down the shaft (like I see you doing) but with all other shots I move the thumb across where it isn't doing anything at all on the club. Somehow it made my long irons way more consistent and although I don't have the compression I had before, I didn't lose much distance at all. Good luck on your journey!

Karol, your 1st pitch instead of a 52° try a 60° with loft. Pay attention the grain. Also go by & try the Lab Golf Mezz 1 , this putter stays square through the stroke & will help u sink more putts. But to practice is Critical to be good in all faucets of golf & will make it more fun & enjoyable when competing. Much Love

If I may offer a little putting advice. Try having your eyes directly over the ball. That helped me become a more consistent putter. It’ll feel weird at first, but with a little practice with this method during distant control at putting, it’ll greatly improve your scoring. Distant control on putting, is taking two tees, space them apart the same width as a hole, then practice putting at various distances and try making each putt stop within 12-18”s of the tees. Good luck on your “sucking less” :)

When considering your club selection, don't try to "man" up. Pick a club that is your yardage. Secondly you definitely need a putting routine. Going to public courses and just practice chip and putt is free!
@vichi3785 ай бұрын
Well that’s why your not get the distance and consistency. The taylormade p790 are like players irons. U need som cavity back irons. U should try out mizuno hot metal 923. I think they are much more forgiving irons then your p790.
@KarolPriscilla5 ай бұрын
I’m not getting the distance because I’m working on swing changes. I’m breaking down to rebuild and it’s been a process. I don’t like cavity backs at all. Started with some and I won’t go backwards when I’m trying to go forwards
@jimmytoucan56994 ай бұрын
Once you've gotten away from game improvement type irons it's hard to go back. Feels like swinging a dump truck compared to something like the 790's. I play st pros and almost didn't even look at them due to the name, thinking they must be a blade type but not so fast. Great forgiveness and a slim enough profile that you don't feel like you're using a shovel

@tcofield19675 ай бұрын
Putting is something you can correct. I'm sure you have been told this but look at getting lessons and just start working on hitting the ball to a spot. Try to put three balls in one spot on the green. DON'T USE THE HOLE AS A SPOT. Just practice hitting a ball to a spot on the green and then try to get the other three balls as close as possible that that first ball. I use four balls for this. I start out short and work my way out. Yes you feel weird doing it on a green when others are warming up and yes, it is somewhat boring but if you practice this you will start getting the pace and distance down. After that it is just experience looking at greens from all sides to figure out the line.
