2:45 Re the table, I hope you don't have the cameras now facing the people on the sides head on. One of the things I really like about this D&D campaign is the vibes of watching people play at a normal table, kinda more fly on the wall style, rather than the more "staged" setups of other actual plays. If the players are facing too much towards the cameras, I'd personally feel more discomfort watching

I wasn't expecting to see a fly in the NEW studios. Like, entrance could have been made with an overpressure air wall (like in shopping malls). Anti-insect mesh on every window. Sticky fly traps everywhere. Plus a few Swarms of Spiders (Monster Manual page 335) for good measure.

Poor guy… his daughter was sick and he needed money to pay for her treatment, his dog was eaten by goblins, he couldn’t afford to pay the taxes on the family farm and lost it, his wife died a year ago and later he found out she cheated on him with his twin brother, and he had to go through all of this with only one good lung… then he lost that too, and was shortly thereafter decapitated, and stabbed to death, and his rotting corpse unceremoniously left on the floor in Greg’s tavern. And still never got the 15 gold he was promised…

Love the series can't believe I've sat and watched like 10 hours of this over 2 years XD, I'd love to see a One Shot where everyone plays PCs so whenever they talk in the real world that just them talking in game over their mics and a couple of challenges could be real world interruptions like having to take the bins out or someone's at the door with Rob being the NPC that's given them the escort quest or something.

Hey, long time fan here. My 2 cents on Greg 💙 Greg is the first NPC we met in the Epic NPC Man universe, for what we know he has always been there. It seems logical to me that Alan doesn't want to explore Greg's past. He probably doesn't have one. And I get the difficulty in choosing a class for Greg: he can be an artificier (he creates items to be sold to PCs, he creates quests), he can be a cleric (he wants to protect the Honeywood's people lives through his quests), heck he could be a bard cheering other people up and helping with words (remember his actor feat?). Greg is the least adventurous of the NPCs, doesn't like to fight and the recent clerical (?) conversion is a sign that he wants to state that he's different. He's a really deep character waiting for his story arc to be fully developed (and, as said in this video, Rob's working towards that).

Skabatha Nightshade was the BBEG for my just-finished 3-yr two-party Saltmarsh campaign. She's the reason I started really watching NPC D&D, and I was not disappointed in her portrayal or the campaign as a whole. It can be a little frustrating when players don't know their characters after months of play but we all know that 1) these sessions have months between them, and 2) all of these players are extremely busy with their skit recording schedules and all of the big recent changes on their road to success.

Random idea: If you’re running multiple campaigns at the same timeline maybe having a big map with magnets showing position of all parties might be an interesting thing to have in the background. And if you do the “up next” segment in front of it, it might have some teasers cross parties. And for the cross-over episodes you could use it as a quick way of catching up on the events of the “guest party” for the viewers that don’t follow both/all the campaigns.

Making an actual module would be pretty tough since it contains content from official modules. So a setting makes a lot of sense. There are two super obvious choices for the girl campaign, and I think it would be awesome to see Phoenix. Not sure how practical it is, but Rhiannon would be amazing to see more of as well. Maybe as Hamish's merchant character's ex-wife, going out adventuring after leaving him for selling their kids and losing all their stuff.
