Everyone wants a movie, but how about a tv show? A book a season, a chapter an episode; we'd get better detail and it would be a little harder for the movie to "ruin" the book that way. Also, we'd have more film of it that way

I'd never read anything by Brandon Mull before picking up this book, though I've heard of his work and always intended to try one of his books. Just finished reading Wild Born (listening to it on audio actually) and it's fantastic. In the normal scheme of things, I wouldn't have started a long, multi-author series. I only picked this up as a Garth Nix fangirl because Nix wrote # 3, and in order to read his contribution, I have to at least read the first two. I elected the audiobook option so that I could listen and play video games at the same time. :P But I'm glad I picked it up! The story was so lovingly crafted, so well constructed and compelling, that it sucked me right in. I now intend to read the whole series, and Brandon Mull has earned himself a new fan. :) I'll have to try his other books too! What an enchanting story. I hope children who discover this series for the first time will love these books (as well as adults like me who read books regardless of the target demographic).

I really want them to make a movie but to be honest Abeke is my favorite character but i just dont see the character like they drew her on the cover on the books. I imagine her with not with dark skin with light brown skin and with wazy loose har not with braids with her scalp. And people i see coments that you guys say "I Hate Melin she freaks me out" But she acts like that because she doesnt want to get hurt and puts on a tough face to hid her true emotions.

hola this book series is very amazing it changed my prospective on many things and really increased my imagination it is a really great book series with loads of amazing things to it what i would love is a tv series it’s to really see the magic of the world but i know it use to have a game that is now gone so many people who have not been able to watch the show it would be really great to have a show about it i sould probably ask the creator of it but still it’s a nice concept to see the real magic of the book series like talisman great beast and plus the story in the books are really great for a series so ya just saying

you notice both the girls have noble and important men as there fathers while the boys have "lesser" fathers... interesting. I actually only started listening to the audio books so I can see if my sister would like them ( she only wants to listen to books i have and really liked... and I mean listen. senior in high school much easier to listen to a book, my sis can't see so she listens to books)

And are you sure YOU read the books? To Meilin, that WAS her ordinary. Its all about perspective. To Conor, Being a shepard was normal. To Rollan, starved on the side of a street was normal. To Abeke, burning in the Niloian sun was normal. You just need to think about it.
