Hi Travis, I'm a 22 year T6 para that was injured in a motorcycle accident in 2001. I was hurt at the age of 38 and I'm now 60. The rehab back then was prehistoric compared to now. I just wanted to give you some words of encouragement and tell you that this life in these physical bodies is short no matter how healthy you are. It wasn't meant to last forever. The physical body is a temporary abode for man's eternal Spirit. Your Spirit is the part of you that makes up your Consciousness and Awareness of Being. Man was made in the likeness of his Creator, which is a Spirit being. His Kingdom dwells within man, although many are unaware of this fact. When these short-lived physical bodies die, our Spirit leaves the body and returns to Him. We can learn quite a bit about this in the Bible, which is an awesome book to say the least. Keep a strong positive attitude Travis and know that this physical life is just a small part of our overall experience. The best is yet to come! Take care, God bless!

Travis you are an inspiration to everyone. Your mental strength is insane. What really hits me is the fact that you are so accepting to be who you are. Being positive and learning to work with what you have, like you do, is a trait that a lot of people don’t have. I truly want to see your channel and image grow. I believe you could make a huge impact on a lot of people life’s based off your story of how you’ve gotten to where you are today. I love you man keep being you!

What a great Q and A! I used to work in inpatient rehab at the start of my career and we had 16 year old quadriplegic patient. You really compensate incredibly well in your scapula as as well as your wrist, I initially thought you had an incomplete SCI. You are truly an inspiration! Keep doing these videos for information and to give others hope that they can still live after SCI.Thanks!

I’m sure that she would be a Great encouragement to you, and your family.
