For me, its the most candid footage of teenagers in the 80s. Other than this, we only really have scripted John Hughes films with archetypal fictional characters. I can't think of anything else before this with better watchable footage of non celebrities just going about their lives

the eye in the sky The guy in the middle is actually the one with the Mohawk called Oliver. Remember he had the pretty girlfriend with him. I think they were the only couple out of those kids.

i remember watching it late 90s early 2000s on vhs, received vhs as a gift from back then bf. I am still watching this docu at least ones a year. was wondering about them. Also now living in LA, and every time i see the rose bowl sign i am thinking of that concert.

Well, Pennebaker is exaggerating. There were tapes running for drums, most of basslines and some "unplayable" sounds. Alan and Martin did play live their music parts. Vocals were also live.

köszi hogy szóltál a 101 óta én így tudom hogy Chris Az nem Krisz hanem Kriszti !!a lényeg ,hogy jól jöttek ki az egészből!$$$$ de ha nagyon érdekelt volna ,akkor utána jártam volna de mindegy .most már ezt is tudom.ja meg azt is, hogy évtizedek óta együtt vannak láttam azt, a kisfilmet mikor találkoznak Dave-el New York-ban és elbeszélgetnek!
