our amazement at his journey shows how deeply we have been conditioned by society.
@daithiocinnsealach19825 жыл бұрын
Randomly ending up on particular spot on the planet, we are conditioned by genes and environment. Soon after that we are conditioned by society and accept it without question. This helps us survive. We are social creatures born mentally ignorant but with certain drives that we are not self-conscious of when born and for many of us never are.

Ten years ago, I had to let my FAITH take over. When, I gave up on taking 18 different prescribed drugs; my doctor had me taking everyday to stay alive. It took being totally fearless; to take all of them and dump them. I was taking the chance that: I would die. But, as you know now; I am well and living well also. Faith is a power that if you have it; and you build upon it can give to you more than you can even imagine. But, that is just one thing; that day I gave up one many illusions like illness, and pain. The mind will tell you things; that will keep you in fear; if you give up that kind of thinking and become filled with faith; you will never fear anything again.

Good for you! I don't believe in prescription drugs or any drugs, I was a Drug & Alcohol counsellor and saw so much damage to the human race thru abuse of them. Society is being drugged to death by doctors who only care about money. The pharmaceutical companies are being directed by gov't all in the name of making money at the expense of peoples health. They are killing people with all these poisonous drugs, there are so many other natural options to healing if people would do research and find out how. Your courage has paid off in a wonderful new life and I am so happy you made that choice. Congratulations!

cannabis doesnt cure most modern ailments for no reason... the concrete jungle will make you sick without diagnosis... humans got here without any modern necessities damn, most people in the western world dont understand that half the world struggles for clean water... you need nothing but your faculty and freedom... true freedom to live a healthy life, yet most people seem to have no reckoning as to the enslavement of their natural being and hence potential. veges are good, but if you live in a prison, theyll taste like shit...

Daniel is awake, he has surrendered to what is. He lives in the present moment and understands how to sit down and have "tea" with his negative feelings/thoughts, then let them go. His ego is very diminished, his journey has brought him to true enlightenment. I feel a great amount of joy for Daniel.

The catch is that someone has to generate technology and infrastructure via a money system, or the general standard of living would become unacceptable for most. In other words, only a limited number of people can "get away" with no money.

he mentioned that he was a homeless person . I personally think that homeless is just another word . He is not homeless at all because his home is where he finds himself comfortable , where ever that may be . He is living a very free lifestyle and should not be judged for figuring it all out . Big business and the government dont want us to figure out for ourselves that we do not need their power , their water , their money. all we need is an open mind , and faith and love for all who share our land . everything else is freedom .

The guy on the right said "all go live in caves" everyone has to see the bigger picture. All the people that are living like Daniel are in tents, huts, caves, their cars and eating from trash because they are beginning the movement. If alot more people were on board and even some businesses and doctors etc Daniel and others like him could have a house etc because remember everything is a gift. The way Daniel is living is not something to be scared of in the long run. It just looks scary now because they are the first to do it and the rest of the world is not on board yet. Yes if you were to start right now it will be scary and hard but the bigger picture is beauty. I hope I planted a seed.

I love Daniel Suelo. People get on my nerves not understanding the overall message he is conveying until a pandemic happens and then it’s, well he was right- no that’s how we were meant to live anyway! Myo says no one person or group owns this land, it is for everyone- go anywhere, do anything one wants- no government, no authority- I intend to see that happen in the very near future!
@bokie5111 жыл бұрын
When, you look at Jesus, he had nothing and was much like Daniel. There is a certain freedom is this kind of suffering. To know when life is great; one needs to experience when it isn't. Some believe that the only way to be rich; is to have lots of money. But, being rich has nothing to do with money; money is the great illusion and it provides us with all the other illusions we perceive as wealth. I am not religious; and this has nothing to do with religion it's all about FAITH and BELIEF that if I lose one thing; I will gain something else. This is just my opinion; I am sure that you have yours.
@beltop511 жыл бұрын
He doesn't depend on others- he spends most of his time in the mountain, living off the land- if you'll read the articles, you'll see that he uses all the plants and herbs for food and all kinds of things. It's pretty ingenious. It's only rarely that he comes down to the town, or needs a ride anywhere, or needs to be given anything. Just fyi. I can see how it would be easy to assume he lives the way we often see homeless people living, if you haven't read anything about him.

34:00 I challenge everyone to take just one day and spend it in a nursing home observing the patients. Those patients you see that are confined to wheelchairs, or have some other debilitating disease, are not happy people most of the time. Doctors and nursing homes are keeping people alive for one reason and one reason only, and that is, to collect Medicaid money because they know that they will be paid. It isn't enough for them to save people who will still have a life, they need to keep paychecks alive for their own pockets to get filled regardless of how miserable it makes everyone and anyone else. I have said it once and I will say it again; we live in a society that tries to be an immortal cult! I have news for you all, we are all going to die so you had better work on getting used to it and live what life you have to the fullest. Love who you can, be with those who love you back, and fuck the rest. Good day.

I think a major point that he makes is one that it flying over people's heads. If we are willing to notice it, we do things for people, particularly friends and family, for free every day, expecting nothing in return. There's no good reason why everything that is done in the world and everything that is made couldn't be free of charge. Otherwise, there's no good reason why you shouldn't charge your friends and family for every single thing you do or provide for them. But people do not see everyone like they see their friends and family. But that is exactly what Jesus commands us to do when he teaches us to love our enemies, those we don't see like friends and family. So, we see the love of money being the root of all evil in that we do not love others like friends and family because we charge them a price instead of giving to them freely like a family member or friend. So, all the things we receive, those of us who refuse to work for a living, yes someone probably paid for it. But that's only because there's evil in the world. Their gifting of it to me, however, covers that sin and makes it all ok, like Jesus' blood for all our sins will wash them all away. And that you had better believe or you will be left without hope before a righteous God.

The dude has a radical perspective and I admire it. To live like that takes a very strong will! you would have to give up all you love. Okay, I have seen animals fight over food. A badger took on a grizzly bear for honey! they do fight over food and territory. Most people are motivated by money, sex, and power. The depth of purpose and meaning imbedded behind all this conveys the levels of maturity and spiritual, emotional and human intelligence that he beholds. He is an ordinary guy, delivering an extraordinary message. 'Ordinary guy' in the sense - that anyone attracted to this message and lifestyle is free to follow, as he is simply one of us, as he humbly speaks - not testifying to be some mystical creature sent by God. He is also an extremely very attractive individual - inside and out, an articulate gentleman, who holds himself well! @SpiritualReform10 жыл бұрын
mrstuperstefan Well, trying to survive without money might be a choice for some; not necessarily because they can't make money, but because it is a chosen way of life. Of course, there are other reasons some would choose that lifestyle. I know of a man who's got plenty of money, but he chooses to go out spending months on the road with no money whatsoever, digging into trash for food and hopping from freight trains......only because he loves doing that. It gives him a sense of freedom, he says. Some even chose to do things that could cost them their lives simple because they love challenges. Well, life is an adventure, one could say. So why confine and be like everyone else? The other question is: does money always bring joy and freedom? Of course not. Just look at our societies. Thus, giving up money doesn't necessarily mean one is afraid to work for money.

Eating roadkill sounds horrible to most of us. But I wonder which is unhealthier, slaving away through lunch and breaks for a minimum wage job, or eating fresh roadkill unconstrained by the bosses who want more and more for less and less pay? Freedom always has a price. How are you free when you live in fear of losing your pay? Fear is not freedom.

I wish the audio was better. I couldn't understand anything. Just finished the book. It was excellent. However, it never cleared up Suelo's idea that the Holy Ghost is female. If this is so, how did the Holy Ghost impregnate Mary? There were a couple other ideas I didn't agree with, albeit I agreed with about 80 percent of the book and wish I had the courage Daniel has. The Eternal Present is real but I still just think we die and nothing happens, nothing before, nothing after.

I'm a Christian conservative and I lovingly give to anyone who asks, and to some who don't as the Bible says. In any case, yes I pay taxes that go to some things I'd like to support and some things I'd rather not. this is such a wonderful concept..to live without money....these people are really courageous bcuz it takes courage to go against a norm.its sad that so many people commit suicide when they lose their jobs and have no way of paying bills...people like him and Mark Boyle just show that living is not about hoardin money and spendin livin like cowards under the shadow of money.money makes us so insecure.people who do high payin jobs are so screwed up becuz they liv in const fear of losin their jobs

I think you raise some logical concerns and you are right that he is not living entirely off the grid. I would say, however, he wants to "end civilization as we know it." He was also asked about the tooth ache or medical emergency dilemma. He suggested that he would accept that fate and allow it to happen. Suelo certainly sees the world differently than most, and his life is not for everyone, but perhaps his example can start a dialogue about other ways of thinking.

How many people work all week to pay off debts just to have to use their credit card to buy food and get in more debt. Money is earned. you exchange your services for credit. You are worth this much an hour towards your debt after tax of course.

I guess the Universe will buy me a wheelchair and help me in and out of bed and onto the loo and shower me every day. I love the idea of no money and simple community living but I betcha people are not going to line up to look after disabled people or elderly people. Sadly, money is the reason that we haven't been and are still not looked after properly over all time. Community is the only way that all people can lead an 'ordinary' life. I think that, unless there is a giant world wide catastrophe that wipes most of the human race out, we will not get back to community and sustainable and equitable living

That's because you are probably 16 and your parents still buy you everything so you have no grasp of the full stress of being an adult stuck in contracts and drowning in debt.

He found them amongst a pile that was being thrown away at a store. Not sure exactly. It was in the book though.
