Thank you for all your hard work on trying to improve the outcome/cure for people fighting glioblastoma. My beloved sister passed from this horrific disease. She was in the medical field herself. She was surgical RN for a distinguished heart surgeon then was responsible for running two surgical floor's at a large hospital. She was a person of high moral, integrity and values. Glioblastoma robbed her of her dignity. She managed to grab the bull by the horns from the git go and stayed positive. Her goal was to be around long enough to watch her only child graduate from college to receive her bachelor's degree and marry the love of her life. After fighting and undergoing three craniotomy's (two of which she had to be awake for) to prolong her life. She did manage to fulfill her dream and see her baby girl marry and become a speech pathologist. She made it two and half year's and considered herself blessed. I take great pride in knowing that I was right by her side through it all and that she is my sister. Neurosurgeon's are miracle worker's they have eye's of a hawk, a heart of a lion and the hands of a lady.
