討論:9:21 用鯰魚和鯉魚比較不合適。鯰魚無鱗,鯉魚特色就是魚鱗的紋路,當然畫起來的重點不一樣。我不是說齊白石的畫風,而是說不能用orange 和 apple 作比較。

Very good introduction to this one of four famous Chinese painting artist. For this artist, I still love his mid age of painting in the insects but overall of painting in the closed up scene, it seems a bit not so strong vs his the human character paintings. From here I realized he was a sculpturist that no wonder he was good at drawing Chinese people relaxing at that dynasty. Very interesting. Have seen Dai Qing Chang, one of the other four artist, at the National Palace Museum Taipei. Honestly speaking, his painting style also degraded at late age esp 60s in the Museum that I wouldn't think his painting was super at all though the auction price was astronomical. The same Qi's paintings after 60 yo also degraded compared with the other brush painting. I would say Qi's painting is OK if you have seens a lot of famous Japanese painting in the same closed up scene at the temples. Qi's = 70 compared with the Japan's collection in the Museum or at the temple. Anyway, thanks for introducing this artist biography and lead me to have oriental painting analysis. Again, I still love and rank the best oriental brush painting =Japanese fine art painting vs China one THERE AREN'T MANY PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS ARTIST, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE SOUTHERN ASIANS WHO CLAIM THEMSELVES AS " CHINESE'... HAHAHHA.... to me they aren't Chinese at all when you chat with them from the basis culture rather from arts..... Hahahah
